Petit Trianon: Guard's Room

The Guards' Room is located across the hall from the Billiard Room and is connected to a passage from where the guards could keep an eye on who came and went to Petit Trianon. The walls appear to have been made of stone but is actually made of plaster which has then been formed to look like stones. The top of the rounded desks is not marble either but a "look-a-like". When the guards occupied the room (which was whenever Marie Antoinette visited) the room would be filled with beds and mattresses along with chairs and tables.
