Petit Trianon: Bathroom of the Duc d'Orlèans

This bathroom is one of the only parts of the Petit Trianon that is not as it was when Marie Antoinette left it for the last time. When Louis Philippe became King of the French in 1830 he decided to create a personal bathroom for his son (the Duc d'Orlèans) and his wife at Petit Trianon and the work on it was done in 1837. He hired Nepveu to carry out the redecoration that is of the "English" style.
