Marc Jacobs' Fall 2012 collection features shoes inspired directly by none other than the Sun King. The huge bejewelled buckles as well as the squared toe is exactly what shoes would have looked like in the 17th/18th century. Oh, and high heels were originally made for men to enhance the legs so naturally these imitations also have high heels.
